PaPa’s Workshop is not just a fun name given to a company; PaPa just happens to be as real as the workshop he works in. I would know because I’m PaPa, and it’s my workshop. I will always remember the love I felt when I saw my first grandchild. From that love came the idea for developing my Little Hands™ line of toys. I wanted to design and make toys that would fuel her imagination and help foster her developmental skills as she grew. With those first toys, Little Hands™ was born. I can’t put into words the joy that designing and making these toys brings. I now have three grandchildren, and the joy of making these toys has increased exponentially. I decided that in this overwhelming electronic world, I could provide an alternative; classic toys that have stood the test of time. These quality toys are Montessori based and are built to promote a child’s developing motor skills and imagination. It is my promise to put the same love and care that I put into the toys I make for my grandchildren into every toy I make for the little hands of your little ones. Visit our Little Hands Store.
The Little Hands Animal Friends Bear Family.
The purpose of our Little Hands™ line of toys is to bring so much more than just entertainment and fun for your child. In this day of electronics and children of all ages spending so much screen time, It became our desire and passion to develop and promote toys that do more than just provide entertainment for our children. We are constantly working to develop toys that stimulate a child's imagination and helps children to develop their eye-hand coordination as they travel through the many developmental stages that mark the milestones of development. Our toys are designed to be easily grasped by children of any age and developmental stage along with stimulating designs and moving parts like wheels to promote the imagination process.
Developing areas like hand-eye coordination is one of the many areas we focus on. Hand-eye coordination is the body’s ability to process information received through the eyes and use it to direct movements of the hands to complete a task or skill. It works in relation to both fine-motor skills (e.g. picking something up) and gross-motor skills (e.g. learning to walk, run, stack blocks, or bounce a ball). Hand-eye coordination develops naturally as your child grows. As a newborn, hand movements are mainly reflexive, but as they grow and develop their curiosity, their movements become more purposeful like reaching for things they want to touch. It is our desire that our toys not only provide fun and enjoyment but help promote these natural development stages and curiosities.
As your child continues to grow and develop, we provide services like engraving of your child's name on their toys to help promote a sense of self and cognitive development as they continue to grow, explore, and find out who they are.
We want everyone to remember that children develop at different rates due to many factors such as exposure to other children like siblings and kindergarten, play time with family , and their natural curiosity levels. Children grow and develop at their own rates, all we can do is encourage them and provide opportunities for learning. It is our sincerest wish that our Little Hands™ line of toys are part of your child's developmental journey.
Please feel free to visit our store often because we are constantly working on new ideas to help our children and grandchildren develop their basic developmental skills.
